Just wondering what everyones best find is as far as picking up antlers or horns, don't need to know if you reported it or not, know a guy that found a 192 whitetail and never got it back after reporting it just saying
Mid November many years ago a picked up a 160 class 5x5 and it was fresh, it was very obvious he got side slammed by another buck and didn't make it, they had quite a rip roaring tear of a fight going on. I spent the rest of the season hoping to catch the guy that did him in, and he snuck in on the edge of a cutblock I was rattling in on the last day of the season, when I looked at him, he melted away like a ghost. One of those things you never forget I suppose.
