They do pull hard. I find the 48" ones fight the hardest.

Some really really nice sturgeon being caught this year it don't matter north or south there getting hammered hard , I remember 15 years ago not many fished for them now its the go to thing . From the beginning of May to now all thought haven't been out in 10 days or so due to the water level and all the crap floating down ive gone back to walleyes for the time being . But from May to the end of the month I have hooked into a decent number of Sturgeon with 13 that were 10 inches to 18 inches . And as a person who is involved with the sturgeon tagging program very exciting to see .
