I have yet to do that a friend of my recently bought a big thunderjet he is bugging me to go honestly I am a little bit chicken.

Hope you guys have a good trip wildman. Where did you book ?

We have our cabin booked at Sooke,again this year for the 9th of Aug I believe for 6 days. hopefully work allows me the time,, we will see.

hey walleyes. we are going to port hardy with serengeti charters. had a really good trip with them last time. for our price range i couldn't find anything better. these guys are pros and they have top of the line boats, guides, etc.

Yes I hear they run a first class operation. One of my brothers just got back from his yearly trip from Hardy, for the last few years they were booked with some other outfit up there but they tried Serengeti this hear and they were super impressed. He fished with young Dave and said he was a first class guide all the way.

Oh yah and they slayed them, no hog Chinook a little early for them yet but still they got their limit in the mid 20's size fish and lots of bottom fish.

awesome!!!
we got our limits of everything easily..
chinooks to 40lbs, cohos to 27lbs, yellow eyes to 27lbs, lings to 35lbs...holy &%$^!!!!
only thing we didn't get big size was halibut. just to 38lbs.
if u try it, dave sr. is the chinook and rock fish king, jr is good too but he really knows the halis!!!

Yah maybe some day...I am a do it yourselfer on the chuck,, been at it for quite a few years now and I enjoy the challenge of it.

Wow great salmon and rockfish.  I can't wait to get a little closer to that ocean so I can go fishing for those critters more often!
