Axe called me yesterday to rescued me from never ending work. Spring start up for fishing is crazy this year. It was a fun fish for few hours. Rainbows quite aggressive. Looking forward to his smoked fish recipe..

I'll keep the offer in mind.  I was hoping to come up the first two weeks of June but seems like plans are changing   The wife thinks we should consider looking for another place to live instead of fishing.  Oh well we shall see and maybe still make it up in the summer.

I love mini jigs and big fish due too... only problem is like you say the hooks are pretty like and do bend sometimes.  Maybe you need to create one with a slightly heavier hook although I know it kind of defeats the purpose of being super light.
