lac la nounne is about an hour away near barrhead and the north side has a campground called elks beach it is a wonderful place washrooms showers ect even a couple playgrounds. the docks should be out by may long but you can catch pike there galore mind you they are small pike range between 1-5 pounds but you can also get to the 5+ pound walleye if you have access to a boat really nice place i grew up there

personally no i can ask when i have my next shift on Thursday the way the other lakes are looking though i could imagine the ice will be off and north buck being a larger lake wouldn't have winter killed as bad as some of the other lakes
