A good portion of Alberta presents excellent grayling fly fishing in areas one would not even suspect.

Has anyone explored and studied the european fly fishing techniques in catching these fish?

I have discovered using these techniques to be rather successful.

And remember, grayling are not all that smart, and be gentle when you release them.

Been years since I fished grayling on the fly. We used to hit the house river quite often but like I say it’s been quite a few years. Really been thinking about it the last while.
