Nice demo Chris, good pointer. Nice steady hands too, when I'm setting up any sort of rig I always manage to embed something in my fingers lol

I tried tying a few snells your way today Chris and I think I am doing something wrong with the little loop you do before you start wrapping the line.  I can't seem to get it going the same way as you. I will try a few more tonight after the little guy goes to bed and try to watch your video and copy everything you do to see if I can get it figured out. If I can get it then it will save me a ton of time on the water tying rigs if need be.

Nate, you can make a bigger loop to wrap around the shank and hold it with your fingers in place, then pull it tight.  You could use a fly tying vice to hold your hools too if you need.

Chris do you use the same knot for tying on a leader. I use a bowline knot, was wondering what you fellers use? Thats the only knot I can remember from my boy scout days...lol
Thx!
