I watch the boys on TV quite a bit and although it looks like a hoot it also looks like way to much work for me. But I hope you have a blast in that thing.. Good luck and make sure you record all of your exploits for us on camera..

for sure i will and if you think kayak fishing is too much work definatly check out the torque by ocean kayak
http://www.oceankayak.com/kayaks/angler_editions/torque.html

theres a built in minkota engine with 36 pound thrust only 13 ft long and its a really cool kayak

I would like to get a kayak and do some "yak" fishing.  I like the simplicity of it and after watching Jim Sammons on the Kayak Fishing Show, it looks very addictive!

Seeing him catch Marlin in a kayak is absolutely crazy!

I don't lol, I borrow a buddies all the time and can't recall the model. I'd like to get one but it's not a neccesity as I can borrow his whenever lol. Sometime down the road I'll pick one up. I love em :) His yaks (well the one I borrow anyway) is older but works like a charm. I'll check the make next time out. And yourself?

I bet fishing the Staufer creek on a Kayak would be a lot of fun and a bit challenging. As long as you stay in the water you could access some great spots.
