Wife just caught a 300 pound marlin 2 hours in chair all buy her self I am proud as can be. I caught Mahi Mahi around the 20 mark it's dinner.

Trip is going realy good we ate the mahi mahi the other night good would be an understment. Our condo is right on the ocean and I fish every morning no luck yet casting from
Shore.

Did the Marlin do the tail run where it spools out line as it skips across the top of the water?

It did that a first a few times Mav but mostly fought deep. Captin would kick it in reverse and wife would pick up a bunch of line and she would think she was winning fish would then take off agian and she would get frustrated I keept couching her saying operatunity of a life time.
