Went to Muskiki yesterday with Matt ..which was his first time fishing cutthroats he did well with 7.. I got five which we released ..no Brook Trout

Matt was such a great worker for the Hinton Fish and Game Gun Range improvements that I had to take him fishing for a half day .. any guy that will work so hard he had blisters on his hands deserves a day off..

he and I had a great time with a few deer and a small Black Bear on the roads and the osprey and 2 chicks this year in nest,,, the loons serenading us

You can fish from shore but not bait till Nov 1 to Dec 15 .. some Brook Trout that they want fished out that's why you can use bait for Brook Trout spawn

 Muskiki Lake (NW 5-45-20-W5) – Open all year – Trout limit 5; but only 1 may be Cutthroat must be over 40 cm.
 Dec. 16 to Oct. 31 – Bait Ban.

Hey Speckles I never fished Muskiki (I don't know why darn it) but can you bait fish it from shore or do you need to get out there in a boat?
