Uncle Buck's

Well boys I'm getting low on this stuff, down to 1/3 of a container and I don't put nothing but, on my fish. If any of you ever tried this you know how good it is, if you haven't, you should. Excellent stuff and once your hooked on it you probably will use no other than U.B. on your favorite fish dish. The kids are coming over in July but I doubt my supply will last until then. I'm sure you can only buy it at Bass Pro.

I may have o try this. I have yet to find one we like better than our own mixture at home but we are always open to try new stuff.

Here is how I fry my fish, and its pretty good.

I dredge the fillets in a flour and spice mix (I dump in Hy's Cajun) but salt and pepper work well.  Then I dip them in a egg milk mixture, then coat them in panko bread crumbs.  I fry them in peanut oil for a few minutes until golden brown.  They are perfectly crisp and taste great.

Sure looks good Chris. There are lots of breading and battering recipes out there for fish and I tried a few. A friend suggested I'd try Uncle Bens and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. I'm hooked now!
