So kind of falling behind on a recent update at our home. Late last summer we decided to go another rout on our big boat. As some may recall I had bought an older Wellcraft and reworked it through the winter of 18/19. I liked that boat but the wife and I just found it too big for use around home. My wife in particular was just nit comfortable with it around the marinas. So we made the decision to go new and with exactly what we wanted. As can imagine these tubs aren’t cheap anymore but if it’s what you want then why not.
It’s a 2021 Kingfisher 2225 Escape equipped with Merc 200 and a Merc 15 hp pro kicker. I purchased the boat from Gibbons motor toys with no electronics. I purchased the electronics through the winter from the Fishin Hole and did all the installs myself all from the Downriggers to the radios. A few pics of our new toy.
