It was a warm sunny perfect day to be out on the ice. Me and Weeman had a great day catching pike and getting a suntan on the face.
Pike were biting on and off and we got a few nicer ones. Snow is settled big time but the ice is pretty crappy and really not that safe yet! Some places only 13 inches thick with half white ice and a flood layer half way down.

We even found a sunk Toyota SR5 quite a ways out in the lake. It looked like that happened a week or two ago. Hope they got out alright and the scene was kind of spooky with a bunch of gear froze in the ice too.

X2 Axe......It was strange to stand next to a truck vertical in the water..

Fish and Wildlife were there as well taking some pictures.

Some nice fish Axe,, looks like a heck day..

Walking around the rig yesterday in this nice weather all I could think about was you guys out there enjoying the nice weather,, buggers...

Hey Sonny target practising is fun too. I wish I had time to get out doing either. Between my sewer line freezing up, vehicles breaking down and plowing snow I haven't had time to scratch my azz.

Yesterday Axeman and I went back to Wabamun trying to catch the bigger gators. Weather nice and warm for a change. Fishing not fast and furious but I caught a white fish on one of my new Demon fly pink in color.
Axeman was slaying gators as usual.
