Paul and I got out there for a bit yesterday afternoon.  We went across the lake to fairly secluded spot a near a weed bed and dropoff.   A few people fishing near the townsite but otherwise not very busy.  Snow was still deep and crusty in spots where the wind blew it, but otherwise it was good.  Got the jeep stuck a couple of times but not too bad.

Fish were biting aggressively but nothing huge.  I landed 8 or 9 and I think Paul got 5.  It was a nice day and even got a face sunburn.

Axeman and I had fun on the lake. I used 6 lb trilene xt fishing line to land my fish. Who says you need heavy line to catch Wabamun snot rocket's.  My only regret we did not have beer to drink.
Axeman makes a good portable non electric fish finder.   ;)
I am looking forward to an open water trip in the summer.
