Back in "the day" when Rem. came out with the 5mm rimfire I thought it was a cool cartridge and wanted to get one. I remember talking to a trapper who figured it was a big improvement over a .22 rim fire or a .22 mag. It was his idea of a perfect beaver cartridge.
The .17 HMR never really got me too excited though I have talked to some who were really impressed by it.
The .17 hornet got my attention as is is reloadable.
I just watched a review on the new .17 winchester super mag. and the Savage rifle they have built for it. I just may have to get one.

Where would a guy find the review..

If you google "17 win. super mag." Or "Savage B mag" you will probably find heaps of info.

Do it Duffy
I have shot hundreds of rounds through a .17 Rem centerfire. The giggle factor is huge.

I have been in contact with a gun store and the Savage B.MAG rifle is supposed to be in their store June or July.
If I don't pick up a .222, .223 or 218 B before then I just may get one.
