Well Sonny, don't be a dumbass like me and buy a gun from a forum. I bought that Ruger .22 LR from that post on here and the guy totally screwed me because the gun jams every second shot and wont eject the brass. Most times it ejects live rounds. First and last time I buy from a forum.  I don't know any online gun websites and as much as I try to hide the fact I'm a female it sure comes out when I purchase guns, trucks,  and equipment lol. Dude deleted his thread immediately and hasn't been on since. I feel pretty frickin dumb. Hopefully you have better luck.  You're smart and well seasoned hunter and gun nut you shouldn't have any trouble  :D

Those are supposed to be a good gun, have you tried a different make of ammo with it?  I mention that as I've an old bolt repeater that simply won't work right with the win. ammo in the 333 boxes.  I suspect the rim thickness in just different enough;  yet wife's old cooey functions with it fine.
I switch to federal and the extractor picks it up every time.

Hope you get it sorted.  That really sucks it was misrepresented.

I bought a Tikka T3 lite, a luepy VX3 BC and talley rings a few weeks back from Prophet River In Loyd.. Just typed in my PAL and visa # and a short message asking to mount and bore site the scope. Order it on a Thur. night and it was at the post office Monday afternoon in GC. I don't think I would ever buy anything used with out seeing it first.

I've bought and sold several guns from forums like this. Never had any complaints or regrets. I've bought them from as far as Ontario off of CGN. That's the nice part of a trader rating-if the member has lots of postive ratings it's unlikely they will screw it up over a bad deal. But as with everything it's buyer beware.

I have bought and sold several bows and archery equipment and have never had an issue.  Generally you will be dealing with honest people but you will get the off person with no integrity.

I've bought online both new and used, been mostly good but always get an inspection period from a seller if used. Most of the stores won't screw you around cause the internet is a small place...
