Be pretty awesome to have a rifle come in at close to 4.5lbs naked!! They are few and far between that's for sure. I had one hunter with a full off custom 7mmSTW that was 5.4lbs with scope, bullets and lightweight sling.  But building that gun was a long way out of my price range. The super light custom stock was a retarded price by its self LoL.
And I've never looked at the ultra light Leupolds personaly other than on paper. Mine is just a regular VX-I 2-7x33mm and comes in just over 9oz.

Most if not all damage to my rifles shotguns have been from other people and dogs.

Here's the newest addition.  Its a rem 700 short action trued with a Benchmark barrel.  Havent had much time to shoot it but but things look promising.  Its a 7 wsm.
