Dirty Harry gun..
« on: December 30, 2018, 08:03:00 PM »
So I said to wifey that I found a "Dirty Harry" gun online. A Smith and Wesson model 29...I told her that this one has a 5.5 inch barrel and Dirty Harry had a 8 3/8th inch barrel.

She looked at me and said.. "Your's is too short"..

I think she told me this before.  :(

Ha ya tell er it's stood the test of time.

Pricey for sure, wish we were allowed to carry side arms like that in the bush.  Actually had a warden stop me this year on the way out bow hunting and advise me to carry something  (legal obviously) as I guess the bears were a bit bad where I hunt. I always carry spray and have thought about a mares leg or something similar but those are a lot bulkier and heavier than a pistol.

Remember when the CWS people were issued the stainless version when they were checking out polar bear dens. The big question and joke was if they would have time enough to shoot themselves before mama bear caught them. :)
