That .243 would look good in the cab of any farm or ranch truck. 8)

You never know what kind of critters and vermin are hanging around when you check out the south forty or the back pastures.

Nice sonny, love the grip color, and the cap and ball should be a hoot to play with.  I have put myself on a bit of a hold buying guns for the short term. My daughter is getting married in July, so my play money is short for a bit. (dam kid, getting in the way of gun progress)

Nice smoke wagon, old school magnum.

Back in the 1800's these were all .36cal...Only the modern day repo's are .44

It is said that Wild Bill Hickock carried a brace of these in .36 cal but that didn't help him when Jack McCall shot him in the back of the head. :o

He held two pair in his hand..Ace of spades Ace of clubs 8 of spades 8 of clubs...deadman's hand. :o

Pietta 1851 Army .44 cap and ball six shooter. 8)

For me, six shooters will always be at the top of the food chain. It can't get anymore western than that. :)

I know it's a old thread but gotta say I like the idea of it. Due to the lack of skill running the confuser I can't post pics but I traded a savage 17 home for a old husky 30-06. Nothing exciting in the trade but what I did find interesting is that it is within 1000 ser# of my dads husky 30-06.

Nice Norwest, I have my uncles old Husky 30-06 featherweight. Made in the 50's, love that gun. You will have some nice hunts with your's  I'm sure.  It was my birthday today and I got this. Ruger M77 with mannlicher stock in a 6.5 Creedmoor. And my favorite snack.

Been awhile since there was a post on this thread so how about this Win m70 sporter baco ,South Carolina production by F.N in 300wsm
One of the last u.s built m70's before moving to Portugal.
It's a honest 3/4 moa rifle with factory ammo and admittedly not the best shooter behind it but she can ring the 12X12 steel at 500 consistently.
And more importantly from a hunting rifle bullet proof reliability.

That's a nice lookin gun Sonny. And it is in excellent shape.

How old is it? You do not see quality like that in today's Mexiburg.

That gun had to have been made in the U.S.

Have Fun. :)

It's brand new,I had High Calibre sports order it for me.

And it's made in Turkey by Armsan. They also make the Weatherby SA 08 shotgun and you know Weatherby is not going to put their name on a junk gun. ;)

It's a pretty nice gun with beautiful Turkish walnut furniture on it and 5 screw in choke tubes.I had to go to Whitecourt today so maybe I'll be able to take it out tomorrow for chickens.

Hey Sonny:

Give it a test drive and tell us what you think.

That's pretty a good wood to metal fit you got there.

Last year I ordered a Chinese SKS from Cabelas and they sent me a beat up Sino-Soviet piece of crap. :(

This year I got lucky. They sent me a nice 1957 true Chinese rifle. All numbers match except the magazine.Stock looks good and so does the blueing on the metal.

I did good for only $189..  8) 8)
