Gun show
« on: December 01, 2016, 08:52:12 PM »
Is there a gun show this weekend in Stony? I always have mixed feelings about these shows, I like to see whats on the tables and would buy, if the right one caught my eye. But 7 bucks to get in and then most of the guns I want go for a good buck. Not saying that they may not be worth it, but bad time of year to to be temped.

The collection of arms is a un-forgiving and ruthless mistress. But like you sonny I can't seem to stop straying from my wife to her open arm's.  ;). Well enough of shakepeare, I will be attending, and knowing me, my plastic will be burning.

We should meet up for a coffee if possible.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

Shot 3 WT bucks, none of them overly special.  Saw a ton of moose and several bulls, but no late season tag.  They gave out only 21 late season antlered tags in my wmu and there are more moose than I have ever seen.  F&W are completely out of touch.

I will post a very cool picture at some point.  Again, sorry about not posting too many pics, but I had some followers the last few years to my area and a blabbermouth that stole and posts my pics.

Take care Axe, you'll be ok. Same thing just happen to me this summer, Got the call and worried for 2 days.
When I went to my appointment I was told by my Doc that if it was really bad, she would have seen me the first minute she got the results. Stay positive for the next 48 hours, I'm  sure everything will be good.

Well it was your typical gun show with 90% of guns way over priced. :o

I did pick up a couple of pump shotguns for a pretty good price.

A Harrington & Richardson model 400 in 16 gauge.

An Eastfied model 916 in 20 gauge... Both for a total of $535,not bad by todays prices.

Back in the 60's and 70's the 16 gauge was popular, now not so much anymore. But they killed ducks just as dead as a 12 gauge. ;)

Now my shotgun collection includes 12,16,20,28 gauge and .410..Think maybe I need a 10 gauge. ;D

Nice find sonny they look real clean and the price was right. Your right you need a 10, I have a Spanish made double 2 trigger. But if you happen to pull both triggers at once, we she kick's like Sally the mule.

This is the first I have heard of the Swedish Ljungman AG42B so that sent me down the rabbit hole and now I have another one on the list.lol
Sonny do you know if it's unrestricted off hand?
Found some info that claimed that do to the punitive size of Egyptians and the weight and size of the rifle they operated in two man teams with one carrying the weapon and one packing ammo.lol

Yeah they are non restricted.

Heavy rifles but darn accurate and the 6.5x55 is sweet to shoot. ;)
