Hearing protection.

I find that the big earmuffs are cumbersome and bulky and the little stick in foam plugs are a real pain in the butt.

I just picked these up for only $5 at the Helmig safety store here in town and they should work great.

Put them on when shooting and hang them around your neck when talking..

What do you guys/gals prefer?

If I'm at the range it's ear muffs all the way but the hearing protection you have wouldn't be a bad idea out in the field.

Same as above. I use those same type when hunting. When at the range, I double up with custom plugs and muffs.

Dinty Moore is to shooters, like spinach is to Popeye.
Hell of a thing, killing a deer. You take away all he's got, and all he's ever going to have.
