Norinco Question..
« on: December 27, 2012, 07:07:07 PM »
Are all Norinco's POS or did anyone ever have a good one?

Awhile ago I started a tread about coachguns,well my son bought me one for Christmas (love my son).He was going to get me a Stoeger but wifey (love her too) told him that I wanted one with external hammers which is true becuase they just look cool. :)

Anyway,the only hammer gun he could find was a Norinco model JW2000..I'lll admit that it's not a bad looking gun,love the 12 in bbls and even the wood wasn't to bad but..
The left hammer will not lock into the cock position.It feels like it wants to but it won't.right hammer works just fine btw.
So on boxing day we take it back to the gun shop for warranty work,cripes I didn't even get to shoot it. :(

So,are all Norincos pieces of crap?

Try to get your money back. Get a 870 or 500. You can get so many aftermarket parts for those than ya can shake a stick at.

Norinco=Junk

What the hell does an 870 have to do with a coachgun?

That was a Christmas gift you might want to think about what that statement represents.

I own a Norinco copy of the Colt Woodsman. It is not well refined, but it does function flawlessly and is accurate. It's cheap and fun.
