Mod 7

The wife’s new elk gun scope is a loopy 6x42 with M1 turret Talley LW rings the stock is a little too Lululemon and will be replaced with a Brown Pounder.

Another option for that stock would be to get your wife to finger bang the hell out of it.
Sorry I don't ice fish or hunt rabbits, but I did stay at a Holliday in express last night.

Walleyes, I have a nice 870 Pump available. Ley me know if that will work.

He's not all that picky I don't think Justin.. He was thinking Franchi but we were looking and came accross the Mossberg 935 which has the 3 1/2" capabilities. We know they are probly not of the highest quality but it would do him for a few years and they are reasonable for him at around the $600.00 mark.

I picked up one of those 935's a couple yrs ago specifically thinking geese with the 3.5".  Pretty nice gun.  Some will say they won't shoot cheap trap 2.75" but mine does just fine as long as you keep it clean and lubed.  Get lazy on cleaning and it won't completely eject about every 10th round.
Not a franchi, but for 635.00 it's a lot of shotgun for the dollar.  Daughter likes it for trap, and son is using it for turkey this spring(with a turkey choke it has even a better pattern than my old marlin bolt action goose gun).  Haven't had a chance to try it on geese yet though.   :)

Yah they look not bad. Cabbellas ca has them on for less, than that even.

http://www.cabelas.ca/product/3977/mossberg-935-magnum-3-12-12-gauge-semi-auto-shotgun-black.

Checked out the prices for I run guns and they don't seem to be a lot cheaper on shotguns  than what can be had here in Canada..

Rob are the extended finger banging screws all packed up can your wife get at them ?  I don’t think a full bang job is needed just the recoil lug.
