Went to the range today

I worked up a load a little while ago for my 338 with 180 grain Nosler Accubonds.
Went out to shoot them to sight in today

338 Cal., 180 gr. Accubonds
average muzzle velocity 2950 fps
3 inches high at 100 yards, zero at 250 yards





Also shot off a few tubes of lipstick....lol
444Marlin, 265 gr. Hornady FP

Nice,338 is an accurate bullet and heavy hitter.Also fun to shoot,from mild to wild.

when I first got the gun a buddy of mine bought one too
we tried reloading 210 grainers .His loved them and mine not so much so I went to the 225 grain and thats what I have been shooting out of it for the past 20 years.

I was skeptical about the 180 grain but had to give them a try.
and I guess the rest is hiistory ::)
