When I got my 6000 and 3000 pack yesterday in the mail.  I think it will work for my needs,  I'll have to try it out with a deboned ram this fall.

I hope this Kuiu thread dosen't get deleted ;)
We will need more details Hawken, vague doesn't work for gear heads!

I was hoping I'd get to test my Chugach jacket this morning. It looks like a brutal storm just to the west of my house so I threw on my jacket and hit the coulee in the river valley to stretch the legs and actually HOPED the rain would move my way. No such luck though. lol

OK
Deer Hunter and I are going to do a side by side review of my Icon 6000 and his Nice 6500.
Stay tuned.

That should be a sweet side by side test.  Gotta go knock over a big elk or moose or something and put both to the test with those stupid loads....

So many good packs out there, and I really think that Kifaru, Mystery Ranch, Barneys, KUIU, etc all do well in tests against eachother for their own strengths...

That's exactly what I'm after. Can you also post real world weights of both as outfitted empty? Thanks for the effort, looking forward to that report.
