I love all my northland tackle and can't wait until I can afford to pick up some more northland blades. It could be quite awhile before that happens but I will eventually be getting my hands on a few different models of those blades.

I have been using their Baitfish Image Blades for years, and have had awesome success with them.  Gold Shiner, Golden Perch, Firetiger, and Clown are my favourites.  I also like the willowleaf blades too and depending on the bite, I will put them on if I want to go faster.

Last fall I was in Bemidji, Minnesota at the Northland Tackle warehouse, and I got my hands on some of their new Mr.Walleye Willow Crawler Hauler Harnesses.  In the short time I had to try them out, they were an awesome big fish bait.  Spinners are a reaction strike, but having a bigger profile really appeals to bigger fish.  The double blades consisting on one size 3 and one size 4 willowleaf really have a ton of flash and can be pulled fast.  It's amazing how cranking up the speed over 2 miles and hour plus, when everyone else is doing 1.2 mph can really make a big difference for extra bites or size after the action has slowed down.
