Trail cam that attracts game
« on: December 30, 2013, 10:31:49 PM »
I have been watching a few of these cams on ebay, I can get a sweet deal if I get 3 of them. I really like the idea of the camear calling the bucks in my area to the camera.  So far my luck's been hit and miss (mostly miss) with capturing the big deer in my zone on camera. I think these will be the ticket!

Any of you guys use these?

Not sure if it would be a good thing or bad.. I would think the deer would be able to zero in on the cameras and possibly get shy of them, or possibly from the repetitiveness of the calls they may become numb to it so to speak.. Not sure may be worth a try.

Looks a little gimmicky for me.  I cant see a trail camera that does calls being very good for an area long term, perhaps it may bring in a couple of curious animals at first but could easily grow into something that the deer would avoid.  Could be more detrimental to the area than good.  Would be interesting to get feedback from people that have actually used them though.

They might be worth a try but my opinion is would you really need one if your setup in a good area. Location, location, location!
