I have to share this story with you all. The fellow in the story is an old family friend of ours, my oldest brother is married to his daughter (40 some years now ) he is a retired pastor and as such married everyone in our family ( 7 of us ) He was my fathers hunting and fishing partner for many, many years well over 30 years. They spent many days in the field together. They fished the west coast, all over BC hundreds of streams and lakes together you all can't imagine the fish and game they took together. My father always said he was going to call and shoot his last moose at age 90 then hang up his gun and quit. Unforerunetly cancer took him much before that and he was taken from us in 1995 at age 73. Well his old hunting partner fulfilled their dream this year, a pretty special moment for sure.

That's a great story. Walleyes, I truly believe your dad still joins you all in your pursuits, most likely was beside old Ed when he took that moose too. That is a wonderful connection your family has with Ed. And congrats on that Moose. I can only hope my kids are still taking me along at 90.
