Funny pic.  Deer love apples.  :)
BTW.... no hunting is taking place on our property so baiting comments are pointless.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

Called in a bull moose to 15 to 20 yards also while checking the cam.  Got video of it too.  I will post that later.

Now why is it something like that only happens when you can't or don't want to shoot it hey. That little bull came into you standing beside a quad I would imagine and a trailer in the wide open,, crazy thing.

Cool video by the way axe I love it.

Thx.

Deer love apples.

Remember seeing a show on tv one time, think it was filmed somewhere in the eastern states;  basically the camera followed around a small herd of deer over an entire year.
Wherever it was I remember them saying that apples remaining on trees were an important winter food source for them, and the shot was of them up on their hind legs getting what apples were there.
I suspect despite there being snow on the ground it wasn't as cold there as it get's here though.

Yeah not so sure Terry used to see a lot more shooters around. I counted 12 on my moms place on Sunday night, there are 2 little bucks, I call them the spiker brothers, you can almost set your clock to them, they come out in the same spot at the same time every night. I have committed myself to hunt the area this year and you know the area I am talking about, I have such little free time, hope I can find a shooter before November hits so I have an idea of where to focus. I haven't killed a deer in 6 years too many hard winters and lack of shooters.

Checked my cam yesterday too.
Almost 5000 pics.
Bucks are really sparring now but almost completely nocturnal.

Here is old Momma moose and her big twins this year.  She has been around the farm for a few years and is a great Momma.
Her calves are always healthy and big.
