Well done video. I am surprised to see guys walking around under that cat without a problem. Don't they hiss at you or is there a chance they would jump out of the tree ontop of you? I wouldn't trust any cornered animals like that myself but maybe there isn't a chance they would do anything crazy liek that

Always a chance they will jump. We have had 3 jump this year and retreed them. As far as hissing and such most are pretty quiet. The biggest one we got this year growled alot but thats the only really noisy one ive been on. As far as walking under them we need to on most occassions as its the best spot to sex them from. And when they do jump its to run and they jump away from the dogs and people.

I was gonna say I have a friend out of Sundre that OutFitts for cat, and your video just confirmed that.......
I might be tagging along in the new year for cats with Jason but not as a shooter, just for the experience.
We will do some yote and wolf hunting though along with his very close friend, my brother Jeff.

Thanks Bruce, hope to have a few more to post in a couple weeks. Time is booked off for the first 10 days of the season plus 3 days prior for locating tracks. Then another 10 days over Xmas so should get a few cats down in that first month I hope!!!

Just got off the phone with my brother and he said he's been out running cats with Jason the last 3 days.
Never really got into much detail but did say they tree'd 1 today but let it go...
