Another Season Over.
« on: November 21, 2015, 08:42:13 PM »
So that's it for me for another hunting season,, head to work in the morning and my shift will take me past the end of the month.

Had a great season as you all know we took a nice bull moose in Oct and also came home with our bag limit of Ruffies which was fun. Never got out for Geese but Sam put quite a few in the freezer for us so we are good there. Had an awesome deer season. I was off from the 1st and hunted a total of 14 days in the bush as well as another 4 days in our stand at home. Never got my buck this year as my goal is quite a lofty one. It's been 8 or 9 years now for me but that's fine,, you can't shoot a 180 if you shoot a 150. It's a quest for me and it will take as long as it takes. Saw lots of bucks this year and found some mighty fine new deer territory. Rattled in 6 bucks one very nice 4x4 and a decent 5x5 that was a solid mid 150's deer but they walked.

So that's it,, I closed my tag this morning, cleaned my gear and put it away for another year,, alls good it was a fun year.
