Just seen my first bear of the year.
Working of course on my way back to camp.
Decent boar to.
Anyone going out this spring?
I will probably pick up a tag and do a few day trips time permitting but am getting fussy in my old age and it would take a exceptional specimen for me to fill it.
Good excuse to get out though.

Was west of DV on Friday just for a walk around, needed bush time. I'm the same, has to be the right one for me to work hard for. Din't think I'd see much and I was right. Not much green, bush is dry,dry. Area I was in is not known to be high in bear numbers, but if it was they would be starving to death.
