Check this big bear out

Alex just finished another great looking mount.  I love the eyes in this thing.  He looks mean!!
It is a pretty big bear as well.

Great details on the eyes and nose.  I always find shoulder mounts on bears to look weird though.  I find half mounts or full mounts work the best.  Looks like Alex does some great work on the details though.

I agree on the bear head mount.  You might as well make it a half mount with the paws and arms in.

Agreed on not really liking head mounts.  Half-body is about the smallest I would want to go.

That being said, the mount looks very cool!

That is the best head mount I have ever seen,,First time I have seen glass eyes with white in them.
looks like he has some snarl in him to,Had one done like that years ago  .I enjoyed bear head mounts more than the rugs

You are right about the talent and the fine details.  The more work I see from Alex the more I can see how he is one of the best in the province.  It would be fun to see a guy like this actually do a few competitions.  I bet he would clean up!
