Have yet to get my draws entered. Still one final decision to get made, then hopefully enter them over the weekend.

Not sure why you would want to hunt elk around Suffield, highly over rated.

Mamba, I would have you hunt with me in a heartbeat.  Just don't laugh at my ancient Bow!!!  I really could use some info on where the spots to hunt are there.  I think I have a decent idea but there are a few questions I do have.  I would also love to hear any stories if you have hunted that hunt before guys.

Our draws are in but only real chances of tags will be my Antelope, WMU 300 Bull Elk, and Mountain Moose(want to do it all on horses and with a bow this time and holding out for a 60" ). All the rest are sitting at lower priority so not much chance there. And with it being my oldest boys first year applying he doesnt have much chance on anything either.

The only sheep draw I put in for is 438 late season. I do wanna kill a sheep with my bow but im gunna try and do it out of a general rifle season and zone.
SG

I hunt sheep to see over the next mountain not to measure the next trophy!

The only thing I'm likely to draw this year is my Archery Antelope.

Any of you guys who draw 408 Trophy sheep, feel free to send me a PM.
I'd be happy to share what I know.

This year I will pull mulie does and if my hunting partner has the same priority as I do, we will pull the first rifle season in Wainwright.

Nube if you need a pack-mule (me) for the elk let me know.

The only tag I will be getting this year will be camp muzzy hunt and my dad might get moose in 346. So anybody that hunts 346 feel free to send some pointers our way! LoL I can exchange some good areas for deer!

Well i mostly 999'ed everything... Should be getting my moose tag 70% chance by last years stats...Going to hunt hard for a 50"+ with archery tackle... Going to be fun...Could of drew alot more tags just dont think i will have the time with guiding this fall...
P-11 on 437 sheep so by the time im retired i MIGHT be able get drawn.. (40yrs) to go.... That seems like way to many years working and not enough strickly hunting...

Hoping to pull a bull moose tag this year, P8. I hunt 326 quite a bit and have seen some good bulls in there, got two bulls back to back there until
archery became draw. I'd really like to take one with my 45/70 with the bullets I'm casting.

Just a few more days and we can check them out boys !!! I love this time of year. Mind you this year its pretty simple for us I 999'ed all but my moose draw for all 4 of us this year and I was P2 for our zone its usually a slam dunk at that Priority.

I want to bring up our priorities on muly for the boys and I and pick a good zone in a couple years. May combine it with a cow Elk hunt someplace with the boys as my 2 older sons are like P8's on cow Elk. Give it a couple years and we will be sittin pretty good for an Elk meat year and chase some muly horn..

Any suggestions for a decent quite place out west that would fit our needs boys ??

Yes, it was always an exciting time of the year.

No Alberta draws for me this year, I am in Sask and put in over here. I don't have any pool statis yet and chances are I won't see a draw tag. Maybe look better next year.

On the flip side, they do have 2 weeks general season for both elk and moose. You have to get up in the forestry for moose (about 40 minutes away). Elk are a different story, all around me and all within walking distance. They use to come on the property but I haven't seen any lately, probably because of my dogs yappin when they hear the yotes a hollerin.
