Frosty morning
« on: September 01, 2011, 01:57:52 PM »
I usually have all my new stand set ups finished by mid July, but am falling a little behind this year. I woke this morning to frost on the windshield and figured I better get my arse in gear and finishing pegging the last couple of trees for my stands. It was cool to see this guy around one of my stand sights.

I decided to build a few box blinds this year to break up the day from freezing in a tree stand to sitting in a heated blind.

Great looking stands and area Dark Wing! I'm heading out this weekend with my daughters to see if we can do the same. Best of luck to you!

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to the opener on the 17th. It's been a few years since I concentrated on elk and moose. The warden is getting tired of deer steaks so I'll have to change the menu up.

Lot's of feed and a great view for my November deer stand
