Has anyone hunted mule deer archery in the WMU250-260?
« on: August 16, 2021, 12:03:05 AM »
I am looking at doing some archery hunts in the Smokey Lake-Waskatenau area. I will be boating and glassing from the river in the coming weeks. Is it difficult to get access from the farmers?

Thanks

Never hunted there myself but generally speaking archery hunters can get access. Most in that area are pretty decent people.

I can't help or comment on permissions, but I can tell you the mule deer population is definitely increasing in WMU 250,260.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?
