Got all we expected.

Got my Mule deer for 118,, nice, and the boy got his moose, we are set.

Got my late season antlered moose draw.
Yay!  We already have all the planning done.
Buddy should have his too in the same zone.

Right on, good for you guys Axe you guys have waited for this one.

Jeff, the fellow we are taking along this year also got his so 2 moose tags for our camp this season as well.

Looks like Moose Rut Fun part 2 is on. I got the Antlered Moose draw where the kid had his last season . Just like the boy, it will be my first crack at archery. It's now time to put out the trail cams, confirm permission, clear trails and practice, practice ,practice with the bow. One bonus, I know what worked last year and what didn't. Now that I know where most of the trails they used are, going to weed whack with the chopper blade a few "sitting, calling and watching" areas beside these trails this time around vs walking and walking looking for Bullwinkle.

Was awarded an antlerless moose tag in 404 and buck/doe whitetail tags in 406.

With any luck here and any success we have in the Chilcotin again this year, we should have some full freezers!

Time for me to get out and put some more miles on the boots here, I'm always trying to find that even sweeter honey hole. I've never hunted 404 but a good friend has for years with his Dad who unexpectedly just recently passed. We'll be looking to continue their time in there.
