Large Caroline Whitetail rumors put to rest
« on: November 17, 2011, 06:56:24 PM »
Just to put a few rumors to rest. Here is the big deet shot near Caroline. He scores 200 5/8th Non Typical net green. He isnt an outfitter as some stated on other forums, he also hasnt had issues with C/O's!!!! He is a great guy, we sat with him the last two years at the Wild Sheep banquet. Shot it with my rifles twin. A customgunworx .280AI.

He was a ways east of my place(15 miles or so). But for sure isnt the biggest around and there are a few more like him in the area. Deffinatly a great deer. Should make the book by 3 or 4 inches after he dries im sure.

RK told me about a buck like that which had ran across the road into my place one night in October, maybe he was right. Guess I was hunting in the wrong WMU opening week  :)

It was taken out in the Stauffer area so he would have traveled a ways from your house but its possible.

Lol,, how rumors fly.. Just got an email with a pic of the deer from a guy I work with that lives in the St Paul area. He has it that the deer was taken in that area..

I love this time of year,, its always fun.. We still haven't had that new world record shot yet,, I am sure its only a couple days away  ::)  ::)

here is the pic I was sent,, awesome deer regardless of where it was shot..

Good looking deer but kind of a shitty looking gun,, lol..
