Last years Spring Bear!
« on: April 16, 2013, 07:12:06 AM »
Here is my 2012 Spring Bear.  He was 545Lbs on the scale and had no teeth left and a big scar across his chest and back leg where someone winged him with the rifle many years back.  Took me 4 years of hard hunting to get him, he was every bit as much of a challenge to hunt as the most wary whitetail.  He truly gave me a brand new respect for bears.  The only way I was able to close the deal was because he was paired up with a sow.  Shot him on the ground at 12 yards after stalking him and his sow right a first shooting light.  The sow was huffing at me @ 6 yards when I finally got a clear shot at him.

Central Sask bear!  We have tonnes of chocolates and cinnamons in our area, probably over half.
