Lets See Some Of The Equipment.

Its getting close boys, I can feel it.. Our favorite time of the year, the nights are getting longer, mornings colder i keep checking for frost every ,morning when I get up. A couple mornings its been close up here, well it feels like it anyways.

Anyways kind of in keeping with Pauls post i thought we would get the blood going some more with a run down of some of the gear you will be running this fall. Lets see the guns, gear, camps, horses what ever it is you will be bringing out and playing with.

As always for me this time of year is always a battle of what gun to bring, I am getting so tired of shooting my 300RUM and I say I am going to bring my '06 but its hard to leave the cannon behind. But this year yah I am going with the '06.

Its the gun on the right.

Camp will be the same as the last couple years the 14 x 16 tent, this year we will have a couple extra guys so we will have another tent set up for the kitchen and one for sleeping.

The tent.

Nothing fancy in the old quad, just an old '03 with 6000km on er. Had er since new and has never let me down, hauls my but in and the meat out every fall for a few now. Its the old rambler in the back.

Yup lookin forward and counting the days.

Lets see some of the other equipment out there.

Hey Walleyes you've probably seen my camps time and time over again. The way I hunt now I don't have much to show other than the Honda Rubicon and the ole 30.06. I did buy a game hoist for the back receiver of the truck. After dragging that moose out to the truck last year by myself I could hardly get it up on the trailer, so the hitch hoist was a must. Built me a nice game pole too with chain hoist on it in the back yard.
Now I can leave the cabin for a morning hunt then come back home for a few hours before I go out again for the evening hunt.
