Phil was a no show again, his lawyer was in attendance and the case was remanded until May 3 in Ponoka.

Remanded?  Do you mean postponed and rescheduled?
Remanding a case means to send it back to a lower court.

Courts can delay or reschedule cases many times for a a variety of reasons at the request of the defense or prosecution.
He will have to face the charges at some point.

Maybe Phil took a little trip to Australia or New Zealand for some Goose hunting. Sort of like what "Lloyd" took, but  without the U.S. government looking for him. ;D

 Phil Cahoonís court date has been put off again. The new date is September 6

Itís a tactic, put it off and put it off until the courts and charging officers get frustrated with it. Then theyíll plea he hasnít hunted since the charge and ask for it as part of the penalty, itís all a game. Iím sure he got lots of helpful advice from the other top gun, mr garret.

I wonder if his guide insurance covers court costs, legal fees, fines, down time, and a pie plate to cover his butt if he goes to jail. Bubba might want to play "Mommy & Daddy" while in the big house.
