Ahhh Darryl...you’re ****ing hilarious.🤣🤣🤣🤣

You’re as wrong about me as you are about Phil.  Any proof of these mystery charges?  Of course not. You can’t prove what never happened now can you?🤔

Speaking of taking tough...I remember you vividly giving me the macho act. I remember you clearly thundering out of the Scout Hall and literally running to your truck when I offered to oblige. 🤣🤣🤣

You’re quick when you’re scared. Remember that Darryl? It was right around the time the police were at your door warning you about your antics on the ole interweb. Harassment...threats...stalking...and I can and will offer proof of that if you’d like. 🤷‍♂️

That other offer is still valid too. If you are ever ready to quit flapping your lips and settle things like men, I’ll be more than happy to get you a milk crate to get up on so you can look me in the eye and get to it.🤣🤣🤣
I’m laughing, because I can’t hel it st the thought of you manning up...but my offer is serious.

As for Phil, my guess is that you’re getting half assed information from JN. Information that he really shouldn’t be talking about at all given his job and such.🤔. Hmmm, I wonder what his superiors in Edmonton would think if they knew he was spewing bullshit that you’re now spreading to the world.

See I talk to Phil somewhat regular. Your info is not completely correct. Well, he did kill a ram last week...I guess you got something right.🤣🤣🤣

I’ll just leave you kids to keep pouring gas on a fire you know nothing about. Watching “experts” spraying verbal diarrhoea is entertaining. 🤣

And yeah Terry, that was Pat that called you. He let the liquor get out of hand and said some dumb things one night. I’m positive that if anyone...you understand how that can happen.😜

Not a clue who Darryl is that your talking about!

I knew if I searched long enough I could find this quote from ISB, “  freedom of speech is good, but as someone learned already....stoooooopidity wont be tolerated.”

Phil has pled guilty to his charges from my understanding. He will get his sentencing Oct 11/19 he just got back from a sheep hunt and is now off on a waterfowl hunt now. The judge was not happy that he was not present for his court case and that's why he will get his punishment in Oct.

Do you know what charges he has plead guilty too?

Guys, a couple of things I have to do here and I am sure you will understand.

The member who came on here and ran our forum down and offered up a veiled physical fight to another member is gone.  It sounds like he had wires crossed anyway.  We will tolerate a lot, but as Walleye's mentioned before, direct attacks on other members especially to the point of physical threats will not be tolerated.  On social media on the internet this type of behavior is not tolerated and can result in a referral to police.

#1 With all of this in mind and the fact that his full member name and location has been posted regarding this negative context, I am forced to clean that up and delete that post.  It is not fair or proper to do that, even to the offending member who was throwing a bunch a first names around.

#2 This topic of an "Outfitter Charged" is in the public realm now and there has been a CBC article on it.  I will not close down discussion, as these topics are important to us as ethical hunters and conservationists.  I will ask that you stick to facts and limit the conjecture.  The outcome of the courts will be public information soon enough and we can discuss that then.

Yes Axe , good call , it has been gnawing on me since , I first read
the offending post ....As has been stated we are fairly easy going
But that type of Internet bullying has been the undoing of a few
outdoor sites ....it certainly puts the sportsman brotherhood in a
bad light ....I would be unapologetic for quick action in removing
posts displaying bad manners and poor behaviour .
They are just counterproductive to our promoting Sportsmanship .
And the fact is ISB has been removed from every outdoor forum
and page I have been on in the last 10 years , pretty well says it
All. Carry on the good work .
My motto

" QUESTION ALL AUTHORITY "

  and media ....

Well what do you mean you have no idea what the charges were, you just posted what you thought were the charges in the post before. Is it rumours or is that what he was charged with, if you have no idea then why post it lol.

There were a lot of charges involved in shooting ducks and leaving lots of them. There were charges for trespassing and shooting from a vehicle. His kid was even involved. His kid was shooting from a vehicle as well, that’s awesome that he’s teaching his kid to do illegal things so early in his hunting career. He got a $25000 fine to be payed over a years time, a 10 yr. suspension from guiding or outfitting in Alberta, and a 2 yr. hunting suspension for his personal hunting. Now if you ask me he should have been done for ever on all accounts. A scum bag like this will never change his ways. Now you really have to ask yourself this. How many of his whitetail and rams were legit. He had bait piles in his whitetail pics and he hunts rams close to Cadomin and the park!! Hmmm.

Because I know what the sentencing was, I’m supposed to know what the charges were? Oct. 11 was his sentencing date, I recieved this info yesterday. I wasn’t in the courtroom to listen to all the charges. Sentences and charges are 2 different things. LOL! Sorry for sharing information.

Ugghhh I have a headache already.

Anyways,, it’s over he got what he got

I’ve learned one thing over the years, given the right circumstances everyone is a poacher. Maybe not to the degree of what took place here but no one is totally innocent. So let’s be a little careful in our condemnation.

Here are a few of the charges. Wastage: 64 ducks shot over water and kept 8
58 ducks shot over water and 25 left floating
171 ducks shot and 28 kept
Then he shot out of his truck from the drivers side through an open passenger window and killed a bird. His son also shot out of his truck and killed a bird.

Multiple hunting without permission and on and on.
These are just a few of the charges. When asked by the judge if he had anything to say, he just said “no”.
If you want more on the charges you should be able to get them from the Ponoka courthouse. He truly thinks he’s above everyone. I wonder what his fire fighter buddies think of him.

Wow hey,, yah messy for sure. Little different than keeping a couple extra birds or fish for supper lol.

Ever think what the media outrage over this would be or the Alberta Outfitters Association’s outcry over this would be if it was Natives caught doing this. They would be crying bloody murder, it would be on every social media site in the country, pretty quiet when it’s one of their own.

CBC news article released today:
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/sherwood-park-outfitter-philip-cahoon-1.5318495
Apparently a ten year ban from Guiding and Outfitting in the Province of Alberta, a two year ban on recreational hunting in the Province of Alberta, and a $25,000.00 fine as Titanium stated earlier.

What about the export stuff?  Anything that might interfere with foreign travel with U.S. Fish and Wildlife? Remember when Lloyd had a little problem in HNL?
