Another AB prairie Bull, from 2009. It's gonna be a LONG wait to draw another grassland tag, but I'm sure it will be worth it..

Awesome pictures guys!  I've only killed one elk in my career, a 275ish bull from the Yaha about ten years ago.  Not really worthy of this thread, but I'm hoping I have some pictures in about two and a half months that WILL be thread-worthy!

Oh you will!!!  I'm really hoping we can find a bull that will push some good inches!!  Either way we're gonna have a good time finding you a sweet bull!

Sounds like you have a date with DAVE.  Good luck Albertadave on your hunt.  You at least have the right guide for the job!

Well my bulls dont stack up to others on here but they are all general season bulls and all are from WMU 318. They are all around the same size so I thought id post all the bulls ive taken except the first which isnt on my computer,

They go as follows,

First  bull taken in 2001/ Archery - not pictured

Second bull taken in 2003/ Archery

Third bull taken in 2007/ Rifle

Forth bull taken in 2010/ Archery

the front 4 on this one are all in the 18-20 inch range.  i had a 350ish bull on video and thought when he laid his head back to bugle at me that this was him.  all i had to shoot at was his front shoulder quartering on.  he went down on the spot, but i was sick when i walked up to him.  wrong bull....

this one died in the same exact spot 2 years later.  it wasnt me on the trigger though.

opinions are like sphincters......everyone has one, and they all stink!

I will start it off    not that big
Not that small neither!

Here's a 402 mountain elk. You'll see a red tag on his ear, he was a badboy and had to be tagged, relocated by F&W. Was near the end of the rut and I called this guy out after seeing him with a couple of cows earlier.

Sheep guide, did you shot that feller in the creek or were you cooling him down?

After the shot he ran in the bush and the herd crossed the creek. When he got to the creek instead of following the herd he ran up the creek about 80yrds and died in the center of it.

This is my biggest. When it comes to Elk and Moose it's all about the meat and the first one to come out gets it. This guy got fooled by the Hoochie mama. 75yards with my bro with me, very cool. First animal with my 7mmrm, 150 gr sirocco.
