spring bear hide back from taxidermist
« on: December 14, 2011, 09:43:33 PM »
Got this sow in May with .270 Win at 25 yards. Got the hide tanned this time; I have no room for a second rug.

Save a tree, kill a beaver.

Very nice.  I usually tube my bears and get the hides tanned.  I have a coat rack in my mancave where I hang the hides by the nose.  They are great conversation pieces and i occasionally give one away to a person that will never have the oppurtunity to get a bear hide themselves.
