Went out mid afternoon to look for chickens,got three but that's not the story.
So we were driving down the camp 20 road and right at mile marker 21 a damn skunk ran across the road in front of us.

I stopped and was going to shoot the little stinker but all I had was a little 28 gauge with 7.5 shot.Now I'm thinking that I have to get pretty close for a kill shot with this little gun,probably within spray range.

Well let's just say that today was Mr. Skunks lucky day.BUT….
I've been in Hinton since 1980 and this is the first live skunk that I seen around here.A couple of years ago I seen a dead one on the east access road but that's it,never seen skunks here before.
I don't think I like this invasive species.
