I would be great to have that pride all the time and this movement gives us that positive spark.
Wife and I were out supporting at the Acheson Husky when the convoy came through, such a feeling of pride all around and it was huge.

Since then I have been trying to keep that spark of pride and hope going.

An excellent exhibit of who the true racist's and bigot's in canada really are.

My question is what is the reasoning behind such a stupid statement?

To divide the country even more?

Since the NDP run the teacher's union's, I believe we better start looking if such racist garbage is being taught to our children.

And reported immediately.

Yeah it pee'd me off big time when I read that but that's the way the ndp roll..

Anyway let's get back on track.... yes it's a copy/paste...

For those not sure, confused or misinformed about what this massive Truck convoy is about ..
1) it’s both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated people standing together to say enough turning us against each other. Enough mandates that have been proven by now clearly to have not worked.
Enough division of family and friends just because we each have strong feelings about what is right or wrong. This has never happened before over a vaccine.
2) it’s in support of all those who have lost their jobs, thousands of front line workers who were previously heroes, and everyone else who needs to feed their families. It’s for small businesses, and all the industries that are suffering greatly from the ongoing lockdowns, and measures the government has decided for us all.
3) Its for all of our kids who are having their childhood stolen. Important Milestones continually missed. Important time for social development. It’s to say enough prioritizing everything over our kids mental health and wellness. As well as enough seclusion and loneliness for elderly who have died alone, etc.
4) it’s to hold onto the freedoms that our vets paid for greatly. As they slowly strip things away two years later it’s time to be concerned about this.
We have focused and done everything for Covid for two years! .. we did everything they asked. At what point in time are we going to say hey, what about the kids? , the suicides, the lost businesses , the people holding on by a thread ? Do we honestly keep ignoring those people?
The truckers are all heading to Ottawa to stand in solidarity with thousands from the US heading here as well as many indigenous groups joining in to say enough is enough to all of the above.
These are peaceful people and good humans in this convoy… they suspect there may be some bad actors planted in the convoy sadly and are watching for this but they are coming peacefully and if the story changes by media or whatever it honestly will be so upsetting as there is nothing but positivity and hope in this protest.
Let’s put our strong opinions aside and get back “in this together “ like we were in the beginning ..

All the Liberals and most of the media have turned the protest into a "red herring" as we knew they would.
The "defacing" of the Terry Fox statue is one of the very few things they could muster. Upside down Canadian flag and a freedom sign.
Some very thin and shallow deflections, but the left will suck them up like the sweetest kool-aid.

Then there is this, hypocrites as always. Trudeau and Freeland never condemned the BLM or Aboriginal destruction of very many statues across Canada.

Yup, Sonny, those type of lists will be known far and wide.

On a positive note though, we had a great guy in a large tow truck from a large local tow company deliver us couple of "Take12" boxes of coffee and a few boxes of donuts to our Highway 43 Yellowstone Freedom gathering. Shook everyone's hands and thanked us for the support while he had a coffee with us around the fire. I won't name the company, him, or post the pic since the media could go on attack mode.

For the first time in my life I feel proud to say I am Canadian.

When I see Canadians from every province and territory and from every race standing side by side for this cause I see the Canada I always envisioned but never saw before.

It also makes he glad that I drove truck most of my working life. For a good part of that time truckers were at best, unappreciated outside the trucking and farming communities.

Personally I never did the job for recognition or appreciation. I did it because I can't stand being cooped up all day every day.

I did it because I want to be free to see new places and meet new people. And because I wanted the freedom to do my job to the best of my ability.
I tried working in factories and businesses where were always someone looking over your shoulder. That's not the life I wanted, trucking offered more of what I wanted then any other job I tried, so that is what I chose to do with my life.

And you know what, if I were still driving for a living I'd quit. If all truckers did that it wouldn't take more the a week for politicians to give in.

Fact is they depend on trucking more then the majority of us do, for without trucking the money would stop rolling into government coffers long before anyone ran out of groceries.

Admittedly it's an extreme measure, and one no trucker wants to happen. But we are faced with just two choices now.
Give in or get more extreme.

Trudeau wants us to get extreme, or more specifically to get violent. That would give him the excuse he has been hoping for, to declare that he has to reset our whole system to get control.

That reset would make him dictator for life.

But he can't jail people for quitting their jobs and he can't force people to do a job they don't want to do. Not without exposing his ultimate plan before he is ready to.
