Interesting NDP propaganda.
Apparently the population which has expanded
By millions combined with to many cows , add
Oil sands and we are starting to look like the
  Other prairie provinces.
I think her conclusion should have said ,never
has the tax paying public had access to so little
     land ..

http://calgaryherald.com/pmn/news-pmn/canada-news-pmn/albertas-natural-ecosystems-shrinking-faster-than-amazon-rain-forest-report/wcm/a44651d3-5dbb-44cd-ac79-202ea67b11dc

You have to go to university to figure out ,that when certain segments of the population are doubling almost over night. Mass immigration moving in ....
Not to mention that nearly half the eastern portion of the country came here
During the oil boom and stayed . Apparently welfare in Alberta is eons ahead
Of working in PEI . The author is a genius ,not.

All this article tells me is that our governments ,past and present are very
  bad resource managers .

As most govt , university , millennial, fools think ....just shut down all industry .
These Aholes are going to university on grants , your money .
One of our problems is that we do things like elect a dance teacher to the
highest position in the land ....

Question .....who ran this news release ....BC government

From the article.

At the turn of the century, just over one-quarter of Alberta was disturbed by agriculture, communities, forestry, energy and other developments. Now, the total is almost 30 per cent.

So,what turn of the century are they taking about, 1900 or 2000 I would guess 2000 the term turn of the century is more dramatic I guess. But still it states that just over a quarter which is what 26%, 27% what is it, to almost 30% which is what 28%, 29%. So essentially what they are saying is in the last 18 years we have turned what 2% of our land into another source of enviroment. What is considered disturbed. Logging is simply changing the Eco system not destroying it. Putting in a pipeline is changing the environment not destroying it. Very misleading journalism. But it's the norm for the day, it sells.

We have a real zinger here.  Not even from the U of A.

https://geog.ucalgary.ca/manageprofile/profiles/jahan-kariyeva.

What is her academic background?

Where are her research papers, and what journals are they in? This person has no credibility in the academic community.

I think this person is being sent out by her superiors to try and drum up some doom and gloom in Alberta.

This is just an article that shows how the slimy drive by media trys to report how bad that Alberta is.

What is wrong with logging old growth forests?  Just ask Speckle, Denis and Sonny. :)

What is wrong with digging out some dinasaur farts?  Just as long as the disruption is cleaned up.

Since the beginning of time, nature, animals, and man have been changing their environment. Nothing new here snowflakes. Why do they always think that their little peddle stool BS is going to make a mark in time?

Good morning read.

http://business.financialpost.com/opinion/british-columbia-thinks-it-can-kill-pipelines-because-it-knows-ottawa-doesnt-care

That is exactly what is going on with BC Commie John Horgan.
He knows that Justin Trudeau will not show any real leadership other than flapping his lips on the supposed forcing of the pipeline decision.  Trudeau will play for votes in BC even though he has stated that he supports Kinder Morgan.  He will do nothing concrete though.

Laughable watching Notley and fellow NDP commie Horgan fight this staged battle and put real people and businesses in between as pawns.

In the end, Canada, Alberta, and BC are losing investment credibility over this nonsense.  The "social license" of the carbon tax has failed miserably and that should be thrown squarely in Notley and Trudeau's faces.
Trudeau and Notley have failed in the very worst possible way and it is getting worse by the day.

Tim McMillan from CAPP summed this up nicely in an interview with the press this week.

Thanks for that great read! That about says it all .
If you read the whole story of the Nazis rise to power
In Germany 1928 to 1939 , you can trace how a very small
group can take a very small idea and befuddle a whole nation .
Thank goodness Elizabeth May is a drunken nitwit ...
These people engineering the anti industry job plot
have to be outed and revealed for who they are ...
Important, you can not expect a slip shod outfit like
the federal government to monitor this serious dilemma .
For to long have we elected bad people doing bad work !
The private sector must root out these enemies of the people !
We must elect governments that eliminates this type of sabotage .
At every possibility those falacies must be contradicted on social
media or as I like to call it Stupidity Underground .

         Another Conrad gem....

We Canada is the laughing stock of the USA for our lefty obsession
with what we perceive as political correctness in the murdering of the
English language . To be a joke at the hands of a country that I was always
Positive was founded by illiterates .

Recent poll shows that if an election were held today, the Conservatives would win 43% of the poplar vote and 181 seats of 338 seats. A majority! :)

I just hope this won't get watered down somehow when the elections really do happen.

Just another Trial and Tribulation . What I call current history
In  the last hundred years or more , socialism , communism ,
liberalism , call it what you may ......has tried to limit true
  personal freedoms ...
Liberalism, a true 3 dressed up as a nine , has done what it
can to enslave society to a life of taxation with very limited
representation . They look good from far but are far from good .

As many times as the red blight has raised its ugly head , and been
beaten back by man's core values ,  love and truth.
You would think by now the great societies would have caught the
play to the point that greed and ego would have no place to stand .

It is very difficult to think of Trudeau as a leader .
Maybe if Village Idiots had an association , JT for Pres.

What I can't believe is that we haven't heard from Fighting Fred Henry
As Rachel tries to dismantle the Catholic School system .
In sane and rational times I would think let's look at that idea ...
But   Today I wouldn't send my worse enemy to public school.
Even from a secular point of view , it's obvious that the monkeys
are running the zoo. Choice is good !

So a verdict was handed down yesterday in the trial of Gerald Stanley. The farmer that was forced to defend his property and family from a band of thieves that entered his yard and put his safety and that of his families at risk. In my eyes the proper verdict was handed out maybe some lessons learned but I doubt it. As we can imagine people are upset this man was justified for his actions. Personely I don't believe any possession is worth anyone's life but at the same time people have to learn to quit stealing. If they wouldn't have been up to no good they wouldn't have been in this situation. I don't care what nationality you are and I honestly don't think race played anything into this verdict it was based on the fact this man was justified in protecting himself.

https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/saskatchewan-farmer-not-guilty-in-fatal-shooting-of-indigenous-man-1.3796394

And now our ballless leader has chided with the Natives and playing the race card and called out the justice system. How stupid can a man get. Leave politics out of the judicial system and let it run its course. His remarks are going to do no one any good.

This is just another example of our
  laws really lacking.
In quite a few US States .....open carry and the
castle law are in place ....Goes a long way to cleaning
up this type of messy affair ....Pretty simple down there
you are trespassing , you will likely end up dead .
Apparently a lot of crime disappeared over night .
