But W101,  the head cow in that herd of mad cows is from the south and you guys elected her in Lethbridge-West.

Well, I am sure you didn't but it sure isn't a north-south thing.  More like urban disease vs rural sanity syndrome.

Turdo Jr. was on site today at Suncor.

I have to wonder if he was piss tested first before being allowed on site?
Everybody else has to have that done.

Chances are he would fail it I bet.

Trudeau really is something else.  Nothing like being completely dishonest about the Harper conservatives record on pipelines and then taking credit for an approval the Conservatives literally couldn't have, because they weren't in government.

"We got this pipeline approved where the previous government didn't!"  I need some help here, who were they fighting as a majority government for approval.  Themselves?

Wow, sad, but I knew this was coming.

https://globalnews.ca/news/4131315/kinder-morgan-pauses-trans-mountain-pipeline-expansion-amid-b-c-opposition/

Kinder Morgan TransMountain expansion is on its final deathbed with this official announcement of investment suspension.
Thanks to Trudeau's inaction and BC's nutjob socialists and greeny's, Kinder Morgan is on its final deathbed with this announcement of intolerable investment risk on the project.
Trudeau's trip out west last week pretty much confirmed his lack of support for the project by again only offering some weak lip service and no action in real support for the project.
Notley must be held responsible as well, only words and very little action has brought Kinder Morgan to this point.

Immediate ramifications include Alberta NDP's recent budget is now completely invalid and the regressive carbon tax a complete failure to meet its main intended goal i.e. social license to build pipelines.  Really no other option than to demand a spring election and an immediate dissolving of the current Provincial government.  All the financial planning for this government was already at a breaking point and now it is completely blown up.  Way to go Liberals and NDP and Greenies, Alberta is officially bankrupt.

And get this....sad.  :(  Notley said today that she spoke again with Justin and once again he stated his assurances that the pipeline would be built.
Get this fact Notley and Trudope:  Kinder Morgan just basically announced that they are a straw away from completely cancelling the project that is officially on financial hold now due to intolerable investment risk due to government inaction.  Once KM drops out, is Justin going to build it with his girly hands....
Can Trudope and Notley get any dumber?

The BC wackjob protestors need a new verse for their chants now.  Hey hey...ho ho...Kinder Morgan must go...hey hey...ho ho...$10.00 a litre for gas...here we go...hey hey...ho ho...

And meanwhile Trudeau is pushing through Bill-69 in Ottawa to kill any other pipeline approvals as well by completely bogging down the approval process with excessive regulation and the ability of the Federal Government to change the rules on a whim for the sake of their climate change doctrine.  CAPP officially opposed this Bill when it was tabled.

It is very clear the Trudeau opposes any pipelines and any chance of economic success for Alberta.  He is NEP2.
He lied through his teeth last Friday when he was here and KM is calling him on it now, but these are real economic and investment forces at work here.  It is not a game of BS for the investors.  They will not be suckered by him and lose billions.

TransCanada Pipeline cancelled the Energy East proposal last September due to these exact same market and investment pressures and uncertainty created by Trudeau's Federal government.
Notley is secretly smiling behind her false front.  If re-elected she has a plan; it is called: "you can pay just a little bit more".

Just remember one thing.  This foolhardy and expensive policy is called "Climate Leadership".  It is a brand that the Alberta NDP and Trudeau's Liberals OWN.  >:(

One more rant.  Then I will  :-X

Notley knows full well that this KM announcement today is no bluff by them either. She is in panic mode now.  Broke and out of ideas.
In her press conference today, Notley called on Ottawa to offer the oil industry a bailout and suggested her government might spend even more taxpayer billions helping pay for construction of Trans Mountain.  She is quickly forgetting that "her government" is on track for a projected $96 billion dollar debt in their current budgeting.  What the hell is she going to invest with.....lol.  Trudeau would never give them a cent either.  Well maybe if their name was Bombardier.

I would have had an idea for her.  She could have used the money collected in her carbon tax scheme to help and invest in Trans Mountain.  Ooops, it is gone already, she spent it on checks directly to her welfare cases and to Ontario union companies to screw in and subsidize led light bulbs for stupid Albertans.

Lorne Gunter sums it all up nicely here:

What a mess. But I've said it before,, good !! Let people see for themselves the cost of socialist governments. Maybe when the country is broke and spending has come to a halt people will wake up.

Trudeau keeps on lying and saying he supports the TransMountain upgrade project.  He has not taken one concrete step to support it.
He and all of his party voted against it as recently as Feb 13, 2018 as did the NDP and horse face Lizzy.

From what I've read all the bands directly affected by the pipeline are all for it.

It's the bands who are nowhere near the route that are blocking it.......no money for them.

That should tell you everything you need to know about the situation.

...and the lack of leadership, both provincially and federally.

As long as the expansion of Trans Mountain gets built which I think it ultimately will, we might get some bonuses along the way with all of these idiots fighting..

  • Trudeau losing seats in 2019 with BC losing the protest battle.  They will view him as an environmental traitor (which he is).  14 Liberal seats there.  Either way he loses, that is why he is fence sitting now.
  • Trudeau losing even more support from First Nations.  That is a no-brainer; no one can satisfy those people looking for handouts constantly.
  • Notley looking like a fool fighting against fellow commie Horgan and vice versa.  NDP lose all around and carbon tax/social license idea smashed on the rocks.
  • Kenney can have at least something positive to take over with.

Oh one last one maybe:  Greenie Lizzy May blows a gasket and gets some jail time.   ;)

I wonder how much a day the hay and oats feed bill will be for Mrs. Ed. in the "Big House" er I mean "Big Barn". ;)

And then there will be the cost of straw in her stall.  It will probably have to be
replaced a couple times a day with all the xxxx that comes out of her. ;)

Notley says she is all in today.
Will buy the Trans Mountain expansion outright if that is what it takes.
Makes me wonder where she found the $7.4 B laying around.
Maybe not a bad investment for the carbon tax $$$.  :-\

Really though, all governments have to do is make laws and regulations to allow business to succeed on its own, but so far Alta, BC, and Feds have failed that test and they all need to be fired.

https://globalnews.ca/news/4136147/alberta-trans-mountain-pipeline-notley/

and another day goes by without a peep from Trudeau that means anything.  I think he will ride the fence till the end on this one.... >:(
