One can only hope Walleyes. Hoping the Mandel ran party splits Nutleys vote and banishes the NDP to oblivion. From landslide victory to don't let the door hit ya on the way out.

If that happens, do all those first time MLA's miss out on pensions? Hope so.

Speech sounded like a leader to me.

Nice to see he's calling a spade a spade and pointing out that all the BS is globalists trying to put the free world into poverty so they can enslave us all.
People like little justin and notley are just useful idiots too stupid to realize they're throw away pawns in the scheme, or are they just greedy judas' not caring for anything but their 40 pieces of silver???

Federal MP Michelle Rempel also steps up to the plate for Trans Mountain.
Where is Andrew Scheer?  His nickname is slowly evolving:  "The Mute"
Should Michelle be leader of that party?
Anyway, here is her speech at the rally in Calgary:

I have been enamoured with Michelle for a Awhile now ...
I have never believed that the mute could lead us to
Federal success...in fact my theory is that the Conservatives
that now exist have no interest in running this country .....
You have to look at history , basically all Conservative govts
Are ousted for having their fingers in the cookie jar , larceny
is in their blood .....their saving grace Is that they are good for
     all bussiness.
The current batch of Tories are happy to have a job, finger pointing,
And just hanging around with a distainful attitude .
My grandkids while lunching with their favourite poppa , were entertaining
me with stories of their dad who refers to our illustrious leader as a fnnnn
frog ...asked if I knew what that was , I responded , all to well.
Though raised Francophone in the prairies , my forefathers were always
Explicit about us definitely not being  Quebecers.
There is no doubt that Justine thinks himself to grand for the likes of Canada
I can write his defeat speech now, his ideas just to progressive for this backwoods country .
Raised in the glorious shadow of our first avowed communist leader .
what grand pictures his mother s drug soaked adle brain must have
Painted for him. Him and countess Sophie will be off to the courts of Europe
            the UN for sure .

On another note .....I sincerely hope that NOrthern Ontario beat Alberta or Quebec
              to the punch .....

So the wife and I went to the rally today at the Legislature in Edmonton.  Rally 4 Resources
This is a first for me and it was quite entertaining.  The politicians sure got a message.

Highlights:

-Notley didn't show her face there, she sent out Deron Bilous instead.  Gutless move on the NDP.
-Amerjeet Sohi was there from Trudeau's cabinet to talk.  He got booed and shouted down big time.  He had nothing to say except for the same old Liberal rhetoric, nothing new.
-Jason Kenney gave another good speech with passion and was cheered big time.  Chants of "Build That Pipe" were echoed after his speech by the crowd of about 700.
-Mandel tried to talk, but was booed as well.  An idiot looking for a photo op.
-Iveson tried to show his support too, but was booed and called a hypocrite.  Another idiot looking for a photo op.  The crowd saw through it as he is a Liberal greenie as well.
-Derek Fildebrant was there and spoke too but he is a horrible speaker and boring.  Not the sharpest tool in the shed.
-About 6 natives were there at the start and tried to protest the rally but got shouted out of there in about 2 minutes.  Master of ceremonies was good and said let them sit there and prove to everone that they are exactly that vocal minority!

Thanks for the post Axeman:

Better than any news cast. :)

As a moderator, do you think our little forum is monitored by the political parties?

Just asking.

Thanks again.

I don't think any forums including this tiny one are monitored at all.

They look at the big social media outlets.  Twitter and Facebook.

Kudos to the organizers of the rallies in Calgary and Edmonton.  This was needed to show BC that Alberta is serious and the politicians damn well know it.

Thanks Axe. Been listening to the news, barely a peep today on Ched about the protest. Don't have cable so can't check the local tv broadcasts. I be curious to see what sound bites they used.

When I speak to my grandchildren about things like
Politics , economy etc .....they are 9,11,14.. Of very
Average intelligence , gramma thinks they are geniuses.
They respond like a juvenile version of the CBC ..
When I ask them where that idea comes from pretty
well always their teacher Miss Blah Blah .
Commies to a fault . I spoke to our son about the horde
Of young knot heads he was raising .
       Apparently it's just a phase , shouldn't last longer than 50
Or 60 years ..I will be spending more time deculting this crew .

Yet another one.
Asking for $27 M this time.  Abousfian Abdelrazik is the Liberal Muslim lottery winner this time.
Sick!  This country is a joke with our stupid governments and courts.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/abdelrazik-settlement-talks-1.4621700

Hate quoting CBC but...
Wonder how Turdo will sell this one if the useless courts side with this one.

Maher Arar $10.5 M
Khadr $10.5 M
Abdullah Almalki $10.5 M
Ahmad El Maati  $10.5 M
Muayyed Nureddin  $10.5 M

Turdo has a thick chequebook for his Muslim friends.

"$10.5 million to you and $10.5 million to you. Meanwhile an innocent farmers acquittal is called a 'miscarriage of justice'.
I want my country back!"

"Trudeau Govt says he can't comment on this case because it's before the courts.
Funny that never stopped him and his Cabinet from attacking a Saskatchewan farmer."

Do I think the Canadian Sheeple will care?  I doubt it, lots of really stupid foolish people in this country.
Most won't even speak up.  I write letters, post my displeasure, get in politicians faces, vote.  Most people just take it though....disgusting.
Actually, these Muslim guys are smarter than the average Canadian citizen (hate to say it but it is true), they are winning while the dumb ass Canadian just pays taxes and takes it.
Even on these forums, it is a joke.  I thought that hunters and fishermen were like minded but boy was I wrong about that.  So many won't speak up and on other forums the moderators censor the ones who do.  Sick!

The "Mute" is sitting back.  Maybe there are political reasons.

Jason Kenney is also sitting back. Maybe there are political reasons.

Certain groups of citizens are fustrated from having to pay so much in taxes.

Other groups of citizens are thinking of striking for more money from the taxpayer.

Gophers around Tabor are drowning and running from from floods. Where is the World Wildlife Fund when you need them?

Winter will end... while Notley puts that carbon tax from your furnace into her re-election fund.

Smile everyone. :(

Ok, Axe. But we don't have the young people, 30 something, or the "new Canadian's" thinking anythings wrong. So a few of us old guys can speak up all we want, it's not going to do a thing. The only thing we have going for us is time. We might be able to enjoy a few more years of "the old country" (what maybe 20 years for most of us older guys) This is the Canada most Canadian's are ok with, or at least they are not speaking up against it.

Lever, so much truth in what you said.  I work at a college here in Liberal City, Alberta and honestly the vast majority (90+%) of the people absolutely love Trudeau and ALL that he stands for.  Oh,  I hope they enjoy the decline when it all comes crashing down because they are the enablers.  When people at work find out that I am a conservative, own guns, and hunt; they literally shun me.   Oh, he is one of those....

In a year or two, I will fade off back into the country somewhere and enjoy my time and do what I need to do.  I am lucky my wife is like minded about that.
I am almost getting to the point where I encourage the stupidity of some of the younger generation so that they can reap what they have sown.  I never thought I would see the day when it is as bad as this.  I give up, they can have it.  I can and will enjoy the last of "the old country".

Funny story and true, last fall in November at hunting camp -20 outside and cozy in the wall tent with a nice fire in the wood stove. A friend of mine (good country boy), brought in an inlaw uncle of his in for a few nights.  Of course, we extended great hospitality to this guy at first.  As he became more comfortable he took the liberty of expounding his Liberal views.  He was a Trudeau lover, climate change freak, anti-oil, and he started getting overly vocal about it to our group of farm boys.  Wrong place, wrong guys!  I had a few beers in me already and had enough of his crap.  I booted his sorry ass out of the wall tent and told him to walk to the abandoned well shack 2 miles away and take the solar panel off of it to keep warm for the night.  He had just finished telling us that snow would be a rare occurrence in a few years and that solar could easily replace burning carbon even now.  I was dead serious and had enough of his willful disrespect and taunting of our way of life, my beer can in my hand smashed on the table and he was out.  Wrong place, wrong time for that Liberal asshole.  Actually, I can tolerate most people on the Liberal side, but this guy went full Trudeau lover retard so I made him live that fake reality that he so believed in that cold night.

Good story ,and good for you. I to am way pass my tolerance for this kind of crap and tell people so. (age has it's privileges) Like you, I am setting up my little spot and beginning to with draw from the problems of this country/world. I have done my time, raised my kids and helped my community. I won't become a bitter hermit, but me and the wife are going to enjoy watching the world go by instead of worrying about it. I remember when I was 10 years old, not a care in the world, took life as it came, enjoyed exploring the woods, feeling the sun on my back, and not worried about making things happen.
Soon will be time to do that again.

yah I'm getting more detached from society each and every day. Can't watch the news anymore that's impossible,, good way to ruin a day. I read my news atleast this way I can choose what I want going in my system.  I have my morning coffee go into town and get some supplies for the day and head back out as fast as I can and hide in my shop or yard or enjoy the outdoors. I don't know how some of you can stand living in town or a city,, I just couldn't do it,, I really don't care for people enough, people for the most part piss me off off they really do, just to much ignorance and no respect for fellow man anymore I can't take it. I enjoy spending time with my family and a few close friends and that's about it.

I have been joking around lately that I'm retiring in the Yukon. If we don't see some kind of reversal of the SJW and everyone and their dog has a right movement and get back to some common sense governments, that joke of moving to a slower pace, wild spaces place may become a reality.
