Thanks Speckle.

I used to pick them on Puggins Mountain northwest of you when I was a kid.

Mom had to adjust her pie cooking for those berries. She was used to blueberries and saskatoon berries

Never picked them nor can I say I’ve ever tasted them for sure. But they look darn good.

Those look yummy, not sure if I can say I have ate a wild one. My friends farm near st paul has a hill full of saskatoons and choke cherries. On the long weekend they filled a couple pails of saskatoons. This weekend the choke cherries will be ready and they are going back for some. Wild raspberry's are everywhere. They filled a small ice cream container full of them them.

Been a good berry crop out there. Mama bear and her 2 cubs are enjoying the bounty too.
